Research groups, laboratories, and doctoral students who wish to strengthen their ties within the Baltic Sea Region can host motivated and well-qualified students. Foreign students will be integrated in real projects and assist in research and lab work.

Within the framework of the excellence strategy, the University of Bonn would like to promote qualified international doctoral students and thus support them on their way to a successful doctoral degree. The final scholarships are aimed at doctoral students from countries of the Global South (see DAC country list) who are doing their doctorate at the University of Bonn and whose doctoral project is about to be completed.

The Bonner Forum Biomedizin (BFB) extends its support for online courses (e.g. bioinformatics or FELASA courses in English) due to a higher demand. The offer is aiming at PhD, MD/PhD students or Postdocs within two years after graduation.

The 12th FENS Forum of Neuroscience will take place on 11-15 July 2020 in Glasgow, UK. The FENS-Kavli Network provides a limited number of childcare grants for ambitious scientist with children. Application deadline for grants is 22 March 2020.
