On October 15th and 16th 2020, about 30 PhD students of the BIGS Neuroscience gathered for this year’s student symposium.

The eighth conference on Glia in Health & Disease will take place as a virtual 4-day live meeting on July 16-19, 2020. Participants are invited to submit abstracts by May 15.

Prof. Dr. C. Henneberger is organizing a mini-symposium on astrocyte Ca2+ signalling on the 21st of November 2019 (1-6 pm, Life & Brain, Seminar Room). The deciphering of astroglial Ca2+ signalling and the techniques and analytical approaches for doing so in vitro and in vivo are going to be the main aspects of the mini symposium.

BIGS Neuroscience student council in cooperation with the IMPRS for Brain and Behavior Student Representatives and the Master Neuroscience students organizes the next BIGS Neuroscience student symposium on November 21-22, 2019 at the Youth Hostel in Aachen, Germany.
