Our group studies the cellular and molecular mechanisms that drive brain tumor development and progression, with a particular focus on IDH-mutant gliomas and the brain tumor microenvironment. We are especially interested in how tumor cell states and their interactions with the surrounding niche shape disease evolution and therapeutic response. To address this, we combine experimental glioma models with single-cell and spatial omics, light-sheet fluorescence microscopy (LSFM)-based cell state classification, advanced imaging, and computational approaches.
