Master Neuroscience

The graduate program BIGS Neuroscience works in close coordination with the master degree program „Neurosciences“, which is offered by the Medical Faculty in cooperation with the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
BIGS Neuroscience provides a structured curriculum that builds upon the Master Program Neurosciences and gives Master’s students excellent prospects to advance their further scientific qualification in Bonn. Already during their Master Neuroscience studies, interested Master students are warmly welcome and encouraged to participate in either the Bonn Brain3 meeting or the BIGS Neuroscience Student Symposium to build connections with neuroscientists and doctoral students in Bonn. Participation in both events is free of charge for Bonn Master students.

The Master of Science in Neurosciences at the University of Bonn is a two-year research oriented, international study program. The curriculum is taught entirely in English and divided into modules, combining courses, lectures, seminars and laboratory work.
The major objective of the Master of Science in Neurosciences program is to train talented students in the rapidly expanding field of Neuroscience. Successful graduates will be proficient to engage in future ground-breaking research and start careers in a large variety of associated medical and biological fields.
The program is open to domestic and international students holding a Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the life sciences, including Biology, Neurosciences, Medicine, Psychology, Biochemistry, Physics, Chemistry, Pharmacy or related fields.

If you wish more information on the Master Program, or would like to apply for the next class, please visit the Master Program Neuroscience website.
